Questions to ask before a Tarot card reading

If you want to get the most out of a Tarot card reading, it helps to have the right frame of mind. That means coming to the table with not just an open mind but the desire to receive answers that can help you to move forward. Ideally, you’ve taken some time to think about what you’d like the cards to tell you.

The same holds true when having any type of psychic reading. It helps to silently ask the Universe what you want to know before going into the reading. You don’t even have to tell the Tarot card reader or the psychic reader what the questions are. Silently asking your spirit guides is enough.

Of course, you should not get too specific. Doing so could limit the scope of the information that you receive. For example, if you ask about a specific situation, you may miss out on gleaning information on another action that could be so much better for you. In other words, instead of asking “What is the outcome of Situation X  at work?” you might ask, “what should I do to experience the best outcome at work?”.

If you’re not sure about some of the types of questions you should be asking your spirit guides before a Tarot card reading or a psychic reading, consider the following:

What do I need to know most about my life? This question can have many different variations. For example, what do I need to know most about my love life? Or what do I need to know most about my financial situation?

How can I move forward? If you’re feeling stuck in any area of your life, this question can bring some guidance on how to take the next step. You might not learn what you should do six months from now, but the first step will lead to the second, and so on and so on.

What should I do about this situation in my life? This is a good question because it is open-ended. An open-ended question does not limit possibilities so any advice or insights that you get can be far-reaching. It’s best not to come to a reading thinking you know the answer because then you might interpret the reading in a way in which you hear what you want to hear rather than what your spirit guides intend for you to hear.

Tarot card readings can be helpful whether you learn to read the cards yourself or visit a professional. Just make sure your mind and your questions are right.
