When someone enters your dreams

What it means if someone enters your dreams

Posted on March 27, 2017March 27, 2017 by Mara Enid

When someone enters your dreamsHave you ever had a dream and felt like someone literally walked into it? This isn’t the same thing as dreaming about someone. When you dream about someone, that person may be a symbol of something else, and your subconscious mind is in control. However, when you have the feeling that someone has entered your dream, you know that your subconscious mind is not in control; you are literally communicating with another person during your dreamtime.

If you’ve ever had this experience, you may be wondering exactly what is going on.

There are a number of different schools of thought. Perhaps the person who entered your dream is lucid dreaming and has actually discovered a way to transport a portion of him or herself into your dream. Another possibility is that the person is communicating with you telepathically. When you’re dreaming, your mental defenses are at their lowest, so you may be better able to pick up on a telepathic conversation at that time.

Some people describe having an experience in which a loved one who has passed away has visited them in a dream. In such dreams, people say they wake up feeling full of warmth and love. Many say they feel a sense of closure or they feel comforted knowing that their loved ones are all right.

So what should you do if you feel that someone has entered your dreams? First of all, write down anything that you remember in a dream journal. Perhaps the person had an important message for you. You want to do everything you can to receive and take in that message.

If you want a repeat experience, set an intention to do more communicating during your dreams. You might ask your Spirit Guides for guidance, or even send a telepathic message to the person who appeared in your dream letting them know you’re open to more dreamworld discussion.

There is a chance that such an experience can make you feel uncomfortable. If you feel that someone entered your dreams and you don’t want it to happen again, you can set an intention for that scenario, as well. You can also say a prayer, asking for protection while your defenses are down when you’re sleeping. Before going to sleep, visualize yourself inside a protective bubble that no one can penetrate except for those who you allow into your dreamworld.

Communication during the dream cycle can be a powerful experience, and if you make the most of it, it can even enhance your life.
