Oh the dreaded Mercury retrograde.
If you know anything about astrology, you may be familiar with Mercury retrograde. All of the planets are constantly in movement, which affects us astrologically. At times, every planet goes retrograde, meaning it slows down and appears to move backward in the sky. For some reason, Mercury seems to affect us more when it goes retrograde than other planets do.
During Mercury retrograde, people often experience delays and miscommunications. If you’ve been on the brink of signing that major contract, don’t be surprised if the deal suddenly falls through. Or if you think you’ve aced that job interview, don’t be surprised if the position is suddenly put on hold.
Relationships can also take a hit during Mercury retrograde since there are often communication problems. You and your partner may find yourself not seeing eye to eye. Or a simple text message could be misinterpreted causing a major blow-up.
Another problem people often run into during Mercury retrograde is the breakdown of electronics or appliances. You may notice your computer freezing more frequently or your car may stop working.
Since so many problems seem to take place for people during Mercury retrograde, it’s not unusual for someone to feel confusion or frustration at this time. That could lead someone to consider speaking with a psychic.
