At least 24 people are dead and two dozen school girls are missing after floodwaters ravaged through Kerrville, Texas this week.
Flood waters rose 26 feet along the Guadalupe River early Friday and washed away homes and vehicles in its path. Rains were expected to continue on Saturday and flash flood warnings remained in effect.
Astrologically it’s important to note that Friday, July 4, the day the wall of water crashed down on its victims was the day that Neptune stationed retrograde from the 2 degree of Aries back into Pisces.
Neptune has traditionally been associated with water events such as flooding and other water-related catastrophes. When a planet stations, its energies are even more powerful than usual.
The girls were attendees of Camp Mystic, a Christian summer camp. Many campers were rescued as witnesses said the camp was completely destroyed by the water.
The tragedy is likely to have political ramifications in the United States as some Texas officials have put the blame squarely on faulty guidance from the National Weather Service.
