Tips for understanding a recurring dream

Posted on December 6, 2015February 20, 2016 by Mara Enid

Have you ever had the same dream multiple times? In some cases, a repetitive dream can be comforting, but in others, it can be disturbing, particularly if it is a nightmare. If a dream keeps repeating itself, you’d better believe that dream is trying to tell you something. If a dream occurs multiple times, most likely it is an important dream. It may be a dream whose message you have not yet discovered, which is why it keeps repeating itself. Or it might be repeating itself to remind you of something very important.

It’s a good idea to record all of your dreams if you want insight into your subconscious and your intuition. But when a dream occurs multiple times, it’s particularly important to pay attention.

So how can you discover the message behind a recurring dream? There are a number of things you can do.

You can use a dream pillow. Dream pillows contain special herbs and flowers that have magical properties to help you realize certain intentions. For example, the Psychic Phenomenon Dream Pillow by the Natural Magick Shop helps people to not only dream more but gain additional insight into the messages and the symbolism behind the dream.

You can keep a dream journal. There is plenty of power in the pen. One of the best ways to get to the bottom of your dreams is to record them over a period of time. Not only should you record your dreams, but you should record what’s going on in your life when you have those dreams. You may notice certain patterns. For example, perhaps your recurring dream occurs every time you fail to stand up for yourself. Maybe your dream is trying to remind you of the importance of being true to yourself and your feelings.

You can record your interpretations. If you don’t like writing or you don’t have time to write down your dreams in the morning, keep a recorder by your bed. Your smartphone likely will let you record notes. Simply record your initial thoughts and memories  when you wake up. You may think you don’t remember anything until you start relaying your thoughts. Then after a couple of weeks of doing this, go back and listen to your observations. You may be surprised by the insights that you have.

Dreams are powerful and they are here to help us. By taking the time to delve deep into your dreams, you can live a life more in alignment with your soul.
