July 5 marks Neptune’s about-face as it turns retrograde at 2 degrees of Aries. This is also the closest Neptune will get to Saturn this year as the two get ready to form a perfect conjunction in 2026. Saturn, currently at 1 degree of Aries will go retrograde July 13.
The biggest transit this month and arguably this year is Uranus’ entry into Gemini. If you follow astrology even a little bit you’ve probably heard that this transit has historically had major implications for the United States. In the past, during this transit, the U.S. experienced the Revolutionary War, the Civil War and participation in World War II. July 7 is the day that Uranus officially enters the sign of Gemini.
The next full moon — this time in Capricorn — takes place July 10. Capricorn is known for productivity and financial acumen. If those are themes that you could use in your life, there’s still time to get any supplies you need for a full moon ritual.
