What Powerful People Don’t Want You to Know About Intuition

There are a whole lot of untruths floating around about intuition. While many people are not intentionally lying about it and simply don’t understand how intuition works, I believe there are some people who really don’t want you to know how to use it. They would rather keep the knowledge to themselves.

Here’s why they want to keep you ignorant of all of the ways intuition can transform your life. Once you know how to use your intuition effectively:

You’ll likely be more successful. Some of the most successful people have talked about how they used intuition in their lives. Think Oprah, Steve Jobs and Richard Branson to name a few. Unfortunately we live in a society that fears scarcity so many people believe that if you are more successful, that will somehow provide more competition for them. So you have people that tell you that you should trust numbers and data more than you trust your gut despite the fact that we have all these examples of successful people using their guts.

You may be less likely to look for (and pay for ) outside answers. So another reason some people discourage focusing too much on intuition: They are afraid it may hurt their wallets. How many people make a living trying to sell people on solutions? If more people understood how to tap into their intuition, fewer would need to pay outside third parties to provide answers to life’s questions.

You’ll probably have more money. This is similar to point one. When you use your intuition effectively, you know which efforts to pursue and you often experience success much faster. When I started using intuition to determine what I should write about rather than SEO blogs and Internet experts, I started making way more money and seeing way more success. And the more money and success you have, the less money and success someone else will have (according to those who buy into scarcity thinking).

You may need to work less. When we live intuitively, we stop learning via trial and error. As our intuition gets stronger, we start to just know what to do next and when to do it. It will take less time to do work because you’re working from spiritual flow rather than the limitations of the ego. But if more people are working less, who will be there to do the work that the most powerful people need to have done? (My take on that? There will always be someone to do that work. Why does it have to be you?)

You’ll likely be more successful in love (and all of your relationships). One of the biggest areas we can see an improvement in when we start working to strengthen our intuition is in our relationships. Why? Because we learn how to sense energy so we can identify people who we shouldn’t trust more readily. At the same time, we can anticipate what’s going on in our loved ones’ lives so we can better engage with them. That means you’ll be less likely to fall under the spell of a narcissist or control freak. So you can see why those types would rather you stay ignorant of how to strengthen your intuitive capabilities, can’t you?

It really all comes down to control. In a society that wants to control you, there is a desire to squash anything that can free you. Your intuition is the key to your freedom. I also think there are other reasons to learn how to effectively use your intuition. In fact there are dangers to NOT using your psychic ability.

In order to enjoy that freedom it’s up to you to take steps to incorporate intuition into your life.
