Signs Your Chakras Need Balancing

Have you ever felt that you were a klutz? Or have you ever felt that your life was chaotic or out of control? Have you ever felt out of it or just off? Chakras are centers of energy in your body. To locate your chakras, imagine that there is a line from the top of your head straight down the middle of your body. Your chakras would be on that line. Each of the seven chakras has an associated color and controls a certain aspect of your well-being.

The root chakra, at the base of your spine, is associated with red. If this chakra is balanced you will feel grounded and stable. You will have confidence in yourself and others around you. If your root chakra is unbalanced or blocked, you can feel depressed or fatigued, fearful or even nervous.

The sacral chakra, in your lower abdomen area, is associated with the color orange. If the chakra is balanced you are in touch with your emotions and have a healthy sex drive. You are not afraid to be passionate. If there is a problem with this chakra you can have a low sex drive, genital health issues such as a yeast infection, and tend to be frigid around people.

The Navel chakra, in your stomach area, is associated with yellow. When the chakra is balanced you have no problems dealing with crowds and have a good self-esteem. You have no problems making decisions and tend to have a good sense of humor. If the chakra is unbalanced, you could have poor digestion, have trouble concentrating and making decisions.

The heart chakra, in the middle of your chest, is associated with green. When the chakra is balanced you are compassionate and friendly and work well in team situations. If it is unbalanced, you could have trouble breathing, have self-acceptance issues, and have a tendency to be negative about relationships. If it is unbalanced, you might also be shy and introverted or have a tendency to lie.

The throat chakra is in the middle of your neck and its associated with the color blue. If your throat chakra is balanced, you have an abundance of creativity, trust and loyalty. You have no problem expressing yourself.

The third eye chakra, right on top of your nose, is associated with indigo. If this chakra is open you have the ability to fantasize and have good intuition. You may even have psychic abilities. When this chakra is unbalanced, you may have balance issues and insomnia.

The crown chakra is on the top of your head and is associated with purple. When this chakra is open you are at one with the world and yourself. You accept your own spirituality. If it is blocked, there could be mental illness and a feeling of being disconnected from the world.

If your chakras need balancing, it is crucial to the health of your mind, body and spirit to attend to them. A single blocked chakra can cause great dysfunction in your life.

As you balance your chakras, your relationships and your circumstances will improve. For example if you balance your second chakra, you may find it easier to attract a healthy relationship. Healing your chakras is one of the greatest things you can do for your mind, body and spirit.
