How to determine your psychic style

Intuition does not work the same way for everybody. Some people have visions of things that will happen in the future. Others dream about future events. Then there are those who don’t know what will happen in the future, but they know about past events that they logically should have no knowledge of.

For example, one might instinctively know that a traumatic event took place in the past in a certain location. Likewise, psychics who are able to determine that a house is haunted are typically able to tune into traumatic events that took place during the past.

So how can you determine your psychic style? We all have intuition. Once you identify the way your intuition works, the better you’ll be able to understand what it is trying to tell you.

If you’re not sure of your psychic style, consider the following questions and guidelines:

Do you  have dreams and wake up with solutions to your problems? Or do you dream about events that later come to pass? If so, dreaming is a hotbed of psychic activity for you. Set the intention before you go to sleep each night to remember your dreams and keep a notebook by your bed to jot them down when you arise. Over time, you may begin to see a pattern and messages to your dreams.

Do you feel sad when those around you are sad? Or is happiness or anger contagious for you, with your moods changing depending upon the moods of those around you? If so, you’re likely an empath, which is a person who feels the emotions of those around them. This psychic ability can help you to better relate to people. You may have a knack for knowing exactly how people are feeling and what they need in a given moment. However, you can also suffer with this psychic ability since you’re more likely to experience feelings of sadness, loneliness or anger that are not yours.

Do you have thoughts that don’t seem to be your own? Or do you know things that you have no logical way of knowing? If so, your thoughts are the hotbed for psychic activity. Learn how to clear your mind of anxious thoughts so you are able to understand intuitive messages when you get them. Meditation may also help you to strengthen this psychic ability since it helps you to quiet your mind.
